Llegó a Montfort-l’Amaury un gato de cascabel, abrió la puerta
cancel y preguntó: –¿Vive aquí, vive aquí el señor Ravel? Cuando a
la sala pasó el gato de cascabel, sacó un montón de papel y con un
miau se lo dio, se lo dio al señor Ravel. Cuando el señor los leyó
vio que decían así: Do re mi fa sol la si. Y entonces fue, los
guardó, los guardó en un popurrí. Luego al compás del reló el gato
de cascabel bailó con un carretel y un miau en do le cantó, le cantó
al señor Ravel. Muy finamente pidió el gato de cascabel permiso al
señor Ravel y en el salón se quedó, se quedó a vivir con él. Sentado
sobre el marfil el gato de cascabel le daba vuelta al papel que
estaba sobre el atril, el atril del señor Ravel.
