Un invento de la mente en su sueño
Recoge la esperanza en su leño
Calcinado cuando acaba en el olvido
Amarte es renunciar a lo vivido
En esa reflexión que tiene empeño
De nunca desangrar si tiene dueño
Alguno que no fue un ser querido
Importante es saber que ya no existe
Que el viaje finalizó sin amargura
Bendigo este recuerdo que madura
Y me hace comprender que no desiste
Porque amar es la fuente que consiste
En formar el carácter con altura.
